AI Surveillance and Digital Privacy Risks: Spy & Crime

Yes, convenient eh, in love with your phone, the phone that destroyed relationships, business, companies and the world, that phone. The phone that tells everyone your business and most personal details and conversations, amazing, and add to that long list of pending government legislation…another story, we have already covered and will expand upon in more detail, about secure phones, computers and communications.

This is where smartphone surveillance and privacy become increasingly important. The smartphone is no longer simply a communications device; it can potentially become an enormous collection point for personal information, location data, communications and behavioural patterns.

Additionally, profiles, metadata, intel, communications, and everything on and related to your phone is open season for exploitation and commercialization, that is selling it for a profit, and can be sold or otherwise monetized and traded for potentially next to nothing at the expense of your life and privacy. People trust the phone and not the robot, however the phone is technically a robot, a servo-mechanism. It is utilized not only in mass surveillance, tracking and endless psychological profiling and manipulation, with clever algorithms, and yes, criminals are clever at exploiting vulnerabilities on phones, computers, electronics and much more.

Operating Systems :

How many people know fundamental differences of operating systems such as windows or apple iOS, or even fewer even know the advantages of open source, or reprogramming the BIOS on a computer and running open source code, or the problems with certain kinds of chips?

How many people know about the pure spy and crime technological supremacy of the eSIM? Or how close proximity and two way communication can easily clone an entire phone from one to another. Another reason to not let your phone be available or accessible, as some people are very clever.

Some simple conclusions may be useful. The solution is often less computers, dependency and vulnerabilities and more sovereignty. Even looking at the degree of technology to make anything run, exposes vulnerabilities in the system, whether it is in lines of code, computer hardware, mechanisms or quality of components and design.

Ultimately, the debate involves digital privacy and personal sovereignty: how much control individuals retain over their communications, devices, information and technological environment.
