In politics, politicians actually mean the opposite of what they say.

Naturally, on some fictional planets governments are a front for criminal organizations. Some are actually engaged in crime, and even planetary rules are ignored or not acknowledged.
Theoretically, things like abducting presidents, stealing oil, or commandeering assets are possible. Assassinations of political rivals become normal — the new normal.
Even in some countries, among presidents and prime ministers, treason becomes a badge of honour.
Not to be outranked, the vindictive villain narcissists hold pre-eminent status. They can do no wrong. They are the centre of the universe. They decide everything — even the elections of foreign leaders, even religious ones.
Religious ethnocentric governments… imagine that.
The ultimate arbitrary command fueled by arrogance without limit.
Laws and common rules for civilized discourse and actions do not exist.
Sociopaths have a lot of status there as well. They can do anything, no worries. Zero grief. Zero apology. Zero accountability.
Only more excuses and profound statements, with the inherent capacity to deceive and hypnotize people into their doom and destruction.
Only wise men would think differently. Only fools would think the same.
Obviously, massive weapons supply from Russia and China was not factored into the equation. Nor the advanced aircraft-carrier-killer missiles. Or the portable mini-missiles capable of intercepting and destroying expensive aircraft.

The Golden Dome project is a non-starter.
It is impossible to protect infinitely a state that is only so big — a small point on the planetary scheme of things, never mind a place like Canada.
After all, in Canada, if we mind our own business and avoid getting involved in proxy wars for goblin supremacy and related puppet governments and double agents, we might actually be golden.
Yes, that means being civilized.
Not telling everyone else on the planet what they can or cannot do. Not deciding who should be in power.
Here in Canada, getting rid of electronic ballots and foreign interference from Dominion voting machines and mass media controlled by enemies foreign and domestic might be a good start.
Also not allowing foreign non-Canadians to vote in a Canadian political party to determine who the leader should be or what policy should be.

The best part of war is that we see exactly what people have and what weapons are capable of.

Simple designs. Less expensive materials. Less complicated processes.

Maybe narcissists should be banned from running countries, along with rapists, pedophiles, and felons.
Some more civilized societies actually have rules about that — perhaps for a good reason.
