It’s a question that shouldn’t be this hard to answer: Can you name one elected official in Canada who isn’t a complete and utter disgrace?
And yet, here we are—staring down the barrel of a political system so riddled with rot, it’s become nearly impossible to pick out a single soul who hasn’t sold out, caved in, or cloaked themselves in lies. Whether it’s the empty suits in Parliament pretending to care, or the smug grins of provincial leaders playing petty tyrants, the entire political class reeks of corruption, cowardice, and self-interest.
We were promised public servants. What we got were actors reading from corporate scripts, nodding along to global agendas while everyday Canadians freeze, bleed, and beg. They smile for the cameras while quietly signing away our sovereignty behind closed doors. They’ll shake your hand at a town hall, then vote to raise your taxes the next morning.
From coast to coast, the people are waking up—but the ones in power? They’re digging in. Lavish pensions. Insider deals. Loyalty to party over people. And when questioned, they smirk as if we’re too stupid to notice. As if their polished talking points will soothe our growing rage.
There’s no honour left in Ottawa. No backbone in Queen’s Park. Just hollow men and women climbing ladders greased with the suffering of those they pretend to represent.
So again, we ask: Can you name just one elected official in Canada who isn’t a total piece of shit?
