Trudeau’s Ghost Still Haunts Mark Carney’s Cabinet

You can swap leaders, but when the ghosts of corruption still sit at the same table, nothing really changes. Mark Carney may be preparing to wear the crown, but Justin Trudeau’s shadow is still draped across his cabinet—and Canadians are the ones paying the bill.

The latest skeleton to rattle out of the Liberal closet? A staggering $130 million spent, then covered up with lies. The government tried to bury the truth, but the numbers don’t lie. The people who greenlit Trudeau’s reckless spending are the very same ones whispering in Carney’s ear today.

That means we’re not facing a “new era” at all—we’re staring at the same insiders, the same players, the same arrogance, and the same taxpayer betrayal dressed up with a different frontman. Trudeau may fade into the background, but his fingerprints are all over Carney’s team.

For everyday Canadians already squeezed by inflation, housing crises, and higher taxes, hearing that $130 million simply vanished under Liberal watch isn’t just insulting—it’s infuriating. How many hospitals could that money have built? How many communities could it have strengthened? Instead, it was wasted, and then buried under spin.

Carney’s rise to power is being framed as a “fresh start,” but ask yourself: if Trudeau’s loyalists are still running the show, what exactly is going to change? Canadians deserve real answers, not recycled lies.

If this is the “new Liberal vision,” it looks a lot like the old one: deception, waste, and elite insiders cashing in while the rest of us struggle to keep our heads above water.
