Will Justice Prevail? Canadian Trucking Company Owner Remains Confident Despite Criminal Charges Related to Freedom Convoy

Harold Jonker, the owner of Jonker Trucking Inc. based in Ontario’s Niagara region, is facing four criminal charges in connection with his participation in the 2022 Freedom Convoy. However, despite the charges, Jonker remains confident and is putting his faith in God’s plan.

The charges against Jonker, which include obstruction of property and obstructing a highway, came as a surprise but not as a shock to him. He is set to turn himself into the Ottawa Police on May 10, but he remains hopeful that the truth will prevail in the end.

Support from the Community

Despite the legal challenges he is facing, Jonker says he is not alone in this fight. He has been humbled by the amount of support he has received from people across Canada. According to him, there are people out there who are willing to help.

Jonker’s case has been taken up by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), which is currently defending several Canadian truckers charged for participating in the Freedom Convoy. The JCCF hopes that the charges against Jonker and other truckers will be dropped.

Concerns About the Future

While Jonker remains confident that justice will prevail, he is also concerned about the impact these charges may have on his ability to work. If he is convicted, he may not be able to cross the border, which could severely limit his business opportunities.

Despite this, Jonker says he is not worried. He believes he can keep busy within the office and will continue to fight for his rights.
